How do I estimate the area to be paved?
For a rectangle, multiply length by width in metres. Divide an irregular area into simple shapes and add them. A site measurement is needed for a formal quote.
What affects the final price?
Materials, ground preparation, excavation, access, drainage, edge details, removal and labour all affect price. A square-metre estimate alone cannot establish a final cost.
Can existing paving be repaired?
Sometimes. The cause of settlement or movement needs to be assessed first. Reusing pavers may be possible where their condition and the surrounding installation permit it.
